The Founding Story
In 2016, Jake Kreuz, founder of Vital Red Light, was diagnosed with Lyme disease. He was left with crippling fatigue, pains, and brain fog for over a year. Frustrated with conventional medicine, he began to look for alternative and natural health solutions to heal his body and feel alive again.
Jake started using “photobiomodulation” in his doctor’s office, which completely changed how he felt. Trips to the doctor’s office became expensive, and the only consumer red light devices cost over $2,000. Jake recognized a gap in the market in providing high-quality, medical-grade red light therapy directly to consumers.
He assembled a team of experts to create the first Vital Red Light.

At Vital Red Light, it is our mission to provide our customers with innovative health & wellness technologies that fit seamlessly into their daily lives. We want to give our community the tools and education to take control of their health and wellness — just like I did.
My story began in 2016 when I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Frustrated with conventional medicine, I began to look for alternative and natural health solutions to heal my body and feel alive again. I created the first Vital Red Light so that I could feel better on my own terms; no more expensive clinical sessions or trips to the doctors. We should all have the ability to heal and improve our health in the comfort of our own homes. That is the mission of Vital Red Light.
Red and near-infrared wavelengths from a Vital Red Light device essentially gives damaged cells the energy necessary to heal themselves.
