Red light therapy works by using specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to support your body at the cellular level. When this light is absorbed through the skin, it reaches your cells and helps stimulate your mitochondria, the part of the cell responsible for producing energy. More cellular energy means your body can function more efficiently, especially when it comes to healing, recovery, and renewal.

Yes, red light therapy is supported by a growing body of clinical research. For decades, scientists and medical professionals have studied how red and near-infrared light affects the body. Research shows these wavelengths can help stimulate cellular energy production, which plays a key role in recovery, inflammation support, skin health, and overall wellness.

While some have reported results as early as after the first treatment session, consistency is key to getting the most out of your experience, and most users report seeing noticeable benefits within the first 2-3 weeks of use. We recommend daily 10-20 minute treatments, although using your device 2-3 times a day may provide additional benefits to symptomatic areas. Learn more about using red light therapy at-home here.

Red light therapy can be a safe and effective alternative to other treatments that use harsh chemicals or UV radiation. For example, saunas are frequently used as a way to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote relaxation. But unlike saunas, which can be expensive and require special installations, red light therapy devices can be used in the comfort of your own home and are often more affordable while providing the same benfits.

Light therapy is a good choice if you’re looking for a non-invasive, safe, and effective way to improve your overall health and wellness. It’s important to note that while red light therapy is generally safe for most people, it’s always a good idea to speak with your healthcare provider before starting any new treatment, especially if you have any underlying health conditions.
