While TSA does not specifically approve individual red light therapy devices, Vital Red Light devices can generally be brought on a plane. The Vital Charge is the only Vital device with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery and is recommended to be packed in your carry-on. Its battery is rated at 10,000mAh and must meet the applicable airline battery requirements. Lithium-ion batteries up to 100 Wh are generally permitted, batteries between 101–160 Wh require airline approval, and batteries over 160 Wh are not permitted on passenger aircraft. The Vital Pro, Vital Pro 2.0, Vital Elite, and other plug-in Vital panels do not contain rechargeable batteries, so they can generally be packed in either carry-on or checked baggage. We recommend checking with your airline for any additional baggage requirements before traveling.

While our full light is designed for versatile use, we generally recommend against using it inside an infrared sauna. The sauna’s high temperatures and humidity may affect the performance and longevity of the device. Additionally, prolonged exposure to extreme heat could pose a risk to both the device and the user.

The Vital Charge comes with a USB-C charger, which is the required adapter for charging. You can plug the USB-C cable into a charging block, similar to the one you would use for an iPhone, and then plug it into a wall outlet.

Your Vital Red Light therapy device is working properly! If it appears that only half of the LEDs are illuminated, you may be seeing the difference between visible red light and near-infrared (NIR) light. You may not be able to see some of the LEDs because NIR wavelengths are near-invisible to the human eye, similar to the infrared wavelengths used in infrared saunas. Vital devices use both visible red light, which primarily targets the skin and surface-level tissues, and invisible NIR light, which penetrates deeper into the body. NIR light may support deeper tissues, muscles, circulation, cellular energy production, and the body's natural inflammatory and recovery processes. Although you may not be able to see NIR light, it is still being emitted and your device is functioning as intended.

Please try resetting your Vital Red Light device by following these steps:

1. Try plugging your device into a different outlet, with nothing else plugged into it.
2. Make sure the NIR (near-infrared) and red switches on the back of the device are both turned OFF (these switches are only found on 1.0 devices).
3. Once you’ve completed steps 1 and 2, unplug the device completely. Then plug it back in with both switches still OFF, and turn them back ON.
4. If this does not resolve the issue, email support@vitalredlight.com and explain the situation.
5. If you need to move your device or switch outlets while it is on, make sure both switches on the back of the device are turned OFF before unplugging and moving it.

Yes, our devices are true medical grade (FDA class 2 device). They are manufactured in an FDA-registered facility where they also make other medical devices for companies like Thermo Fisher.

All lights come with eye protection. There's no need to buy them separately.

The stand for the Vital Red light is not included with your purchase by default. However, you have the option to add it to your order during the checkout process for an additional cost.

For session duration, always follow the recommended guidelines in your device’s manual. Most sessions should last between 10 and 20 minutes per area. There is generally no need to exceed 20 minutes per area, including when using NIR mode.

Before using the red light panel on areas with surgical metal implants, we’d recommend it would be best to consult with your healthcare provider. They can provide personalized advice based on your specific situation and medical history. It’s important to ensure that using the red light therapy won’t interfere with the healing process or pose any risks related to the implants. Once you have clearance from your healthcare provider, you can safely incorporate the red light therapy into your routine.

Some of your lights may appear to be off because they are emitting near-infrared light, which is invisible to the human eye.

Because we process and ship orders quickly, we cannot guarantee that a cancellation request can be accommodated. We will do our best to reroute your order with the carrier, but this is subject to carrier availability. If your order has already shipped and cannot be rerouted, you will need to receive the package and initiate a return. Please allow up to 5 business days for international orders to ship. All lights are designed to work on all global electrical systems, as they automatically adapt. Expect international shipping to take approximately 6 to 12 business days, depending on your location and customs clearance at your local post office.

If you received an order confirmation email, your order is in our system and is being processed for delivery. Please allow up to 24 hours for your tracking information to update. Yes. All Vital Red Light devices are designed to work with electrical systems worldwide and automatically adapt to the appropriate voltage. Each international order also includes the appropriate power cord and plug type for the destination country. If you’re ordering internationally, shipping times are typically 6–12 business days, depending on your location and customs clearance.

We stand behind all of our products and build our devices to last. All personal-use devices come with a fully covered 3-year warranty, while our commercial devices come with a 5-year warranty. Our devices are also rated for up to 100,000 hours of use. If an issue arises that is not caused by misuse, we are happy to repair or replace the device. To request warranty service, contact our Customer Experience Team at support@vitalredlight.com. Please include your order number and a description of the issue with your device. Please note that customers with warranty claims are responsible for return shipping costs.

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If you received an incorrect or damaged item, please contact our Customer Experience Team at support@vitalredlight.com with your order number and description of the incorrect or damaged order. Please send photos or videos to support the damaged claim.

We offer FREE exchanges. We cover the cost to send your item back for an exchange and cover the shipping cost to get another item delivered to you. Follow the easy steps in our return portal 

If the product is returned in accordance with this Return Policy, Vital Red Light will credit the original form of payment you used to make the original purchase and any applicable taxes (excluding shipping and handling charges unless otherwise specified). You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase usually within 10 business days of our receiving your returned product. You will be refunded the shipping cost if the return is a result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part.
